SIMPLE TABLE RULES are
described as follows:
RULE 1:
Read the statement line
by line and draw the diagram as per question statement provided.
RULE 2:
Take your Left Hand Side
for LEFT RANK (LR) and Right Hand Side for RIGHT RANK (RR).
RULE 3:
Use the following Simple Tables 1 shown below.
FOR SIMPLE STATEMENTS

LRRR1= TOTAL NO. OF PERSONS

FOR BETWEEN BOTH STATEMENTS

LR+RR+BB=TOTAL NO. OF PERSONS

FOR DOUBLE COUNT STATEMENTS (Special CaseExchange of Positions/Overlap)

LR+RRDC= TOTAL NO. OF PERSONS

Where LR= Left Rank of a
person, RR= Right Rank of a person, BB= Between Both of any two persons, DC=
Double Count of any two persons
In Special Case or Exchange of Positions:
This rules applies when
LR+RR> Total No. of Persons, Then double count case will be appeared.
Question 1:
Anil ranks twenty in a
class of 50 students. What is his rank from the last?
Solution: By using Simple Table Rules:

by line and draw the diagram same as shown below:

LEFT RANK = LR = 20
TOTAL NO. OF STUDENTS = 50

Putting all the above values into (i)

RR= 5020+1 = 31
Thus the rank of Anil from
the last is 31.
Question 2:
In the row of boys Anil
rank is 13^{th} from the left and Dinesh is 17^{th} from the
right from a total of 50 students. How many students are sitting in between
both Anil and Dinesh?

Thus the no. of students
sitting between Anil and Dinesh are 31.
