Fill in the blanks are the mandatory part of SSC IBPS SBI TET or any other competitive exams covers 5-10 questions. Fill in the blanks are of two types.
1.      Single fill in the blank
2.      Double fill in the blank
Single fill in the blank sentences
Single fill in the blank have single blank position for which five single alternatives are provided as options.
Double fill in the blank sentences
Double fill in the blank have double blank position for which five double alternatives are provided as options.

RULES FOR SINGLE FILL IN THE BLANKS SENTENCES:
RULE 1: KEYWORDS FOR PRESENT INDEFINITE TENSE:
If any fill in the blank sentence is provided with following keywords then right option must be chosen as V1st form only.

RULE 2: KEYWORDS FOR PAST INDEFINITE TENSE:
If any fill in the blank sentence is provided with following keywords then right option must be chosen as verb 2nd form.

·         Ago
·         In any of the year such as 1982, 2014 etc.
RULE 3: KEYWORDS FOR PAST PERFECT TENSE:
If any fill in the blank sentence is provided with following keywords then right option must be chosen as VIIIrd Form.
·         Already
·         Just
·         Recently
·         So far
·         Yet
·         Lately
RULE 4: KEYWORDS FOR PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE:
If any fill in the blank sentence is provided with following keywords then right option must be chosen as verb + ing.
·         Now
·         Now a days
·         These days
·         At this moment
·         At present
·         Currently
RULES FOR DOUBLE FILL IN THE BLANKS SENTENCES:
RULE 1: KEYWORD-“BEFORE”
If any fill in the blank sentence is provided BEFORE keyword then right option must be chosen same as shown below Table.
